MORRIS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILD EVENT
This Fall, the NJ Chapter participated in a traditional home building event to assist the Morris Habitat for Humanity group. Our members assisted in the building of a new home for a family in need located in the Morristown, NJ area. Following the event, all volunteers were asked to provide comment on the work-related safety, health and environmental conditions found during program participation. These comments and their recommended solutions were combined into a safety/environmental checklist. This checklist was provided to the host Habitat for Humanity organization to assist with future volunteer SH&E awareness training.
