7:05 PM President Mike Mandracchia called the meeting to order and welcomed
everyone. Personal introductions followed.
Secretary Report- Minutes from April meeting were
approved.

Treasurerís Report- Balance of $32,805.88 in account. Organization made between four and five thousand dollars on the two courses(Hazwoper refresher and CHMM Review ) that we held.
Old Business
Logo Contest- the four finalist logos will be posted on the website. We are looking to vote for a winner at the August meeting..
NJDEP CHMM Review Course-
Mike M. talked about the review course which was presented. 25 of the 27 modules were
presented. Mike presented chapter
awards at this time to non NJDEP employees for their participation in teaching
the class. Those individuals are
Jim Ross, Chris Marlowe,and Pete Downing. Chris and Pete were not present to accept their awards.
National Meeting, Dallas,
TX.- Five or six people from the NJ chapter will be presenting papers at
the National conference.
Mike M. stated that the deadline for asking for money to attend the
conference would be July 22nd, 2003.
New Business
Blood Drive- Their
will be a blood drive held at the EB meeting on July 29th at Weston
Solutions in Edison, NJ.
Academy nominations-
Liz Pfeiffer stated nominations are due by July 1st, 2003
Al Arnofsky talked about the
need to help join the National Awards Committee.
Cleanup Star Program-Mike
M. stated that the CHMM will
qualify as part of this new program. He also stated that it could be
published shortly.
Upcoming Meetings-
July- EB Meeting at
Weston Soln's in Edison, NJ along with Blood Drive
August- Roller Bearing
Plant Site in Clark, NJ @ 6:00 PM. Possible golf before the meeting . More
details will be posted on the website.
September- National
Conference in Dallas, TX.
October- EB Meeting @
Rutgers Club?
8:00 PM- Sam Sofer gave his
presentation on "IAQ"
