7:05PM- Barry Weissman called the meeting to order. Personal introductions followed. Barry talked to the chapter about submitting for awards if you qualify. In addition, he talked about the OSHA Alliance for 2005 that the chapter has signed.

Secretary Report(SS)- Minutes from the December meeting were approved.

Scott mentioned to the chapter that he was preparing the submittal for Chapter Website of the Year award for this year.
Treasurerís Report(RC) - Balance of $36,477.00 was reported. Rich also reported that the chapter had 4x $5000 CDís and that 99 members have paid so far this year. Most have paid through the combined dues program.
Committee Reports
National (Richard Cartwright)- Rich talked about the upcoming Leadership Workshop which is being held on May 19th and 20th in Hanford, WA. and also the National Conference in St. Louis on September 26th-29th.
IHMM (Pete Spinney)- Pete reported that there is talk about a ACHMM/IHMM joint dues program in the future. The IHMM and the ACHMM are working closely together to better market the credential. There is also talk at the IHMM about a possible non ñdegreed certification at the technician level. Peter asked members for their input on this issue.
7:30PM-Program Speaker (DG)- Dave introduced our President Barry Weissman and his talk entitled ìKaboom! Your Plant just Blew UP!! Now Deal With It!!î The talk focused on the steps necessary to begin a business continuity plan for a manufacturing location in the event of a catastrophe.
Question and Answer session followed Barrryís talk.
Trustee Dan Levine mentioned that there were 2 tentative openings for the NJDEP NOC.
